Vass Constantinides wins the Rising Star Award at the British Parking Awards
Having worked in the parking and transportation industry since 2017, Vass was shortlisted for the Rising Star Award at the British Parking Awards for 2023. Vass is an exceptional individual who has consistently demonstrated outstanding dedication, commitment, and talent in his field. He has provided remarkable contributions to the community, has a high level of respect from his colleagues and wider stakeholders, and is involved in professional organisations such as the CIHT.
Vass has consistently pursued growth and development throughout his career, always embracing responsibility and actively seeking personal improvement. His commitment to continuously improving and developing the knowledge and expertise of his team, the wider company and colleagues reflects his tireless dedication to the industry.
Parking has played a significant role in the development of Vass’ career, and he has consistently demonstrated his expertise and leadership in this field. Despite being in the early stages of his career, Vass has successfully been involved in various parking projects, that include but are not limited to:

- Permit Parking Areas – Redbridge, Islington Council.
- Restricted Parking Zones – Redbridge, Islington Council.
- Parking Beat Surveys – Haringey, Islington and other London boroughs.
- Minor Work Programme – Haringey Council (DYL, SYL, Dropped Kerbs etc).

He stands out among his peers because of his expertise, passion, and determination. Despite being young, he demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and maturity.
He has excellent problem-solving skills, which is one of his most impressive qualities. He naturally excels at breaking through difficult problems and coming up with creative answers. He continuously exhibits a tremendous capacity to think creatively and produce outcomes, whether it be through the design of complex systems, solving technical problems, or streamlining operations. He continually looks for ways to broaden his skill set and keeps up with the most recent developments in his industry. Additionally, he makes an effort to learn cutting-edge methods and technologies that will be useful for current and subsequent projects.
Additionally, he has good communication skills and gets along well with clients and coworkers from a variety of backgrounds. He is constantly prepared to offer assistance, impart his knowledge, and work well with others to generate outcomes for his clients. He adds value to his team and clientele with his upbeat approach and capacity for inspiring others.”
Having received the award at the Royal Lancaster Hotel on 15th September 2023, Vass has said:
“I had the privilege of attending the British Parking Awards, where I was awarded Rising Star for 2023. Being shortlisted for the award was already an incredible honour but to go on and win it was something I could have never imagined.”
