Sky Studios TRICS compliant survey
As part of a planning condition attached to the Sky Studios site at Elstree, Pell Frischmann commissioned a TRICS compliant survey to assess modal split and usage of the site by employees and visitors. TRICS is the system of trip generation analysis for the UK and Ireland first launched in 1989 and is an essential part of the Transport Assessment process. The aim of the comprehensive travel monitoring survey was to better understand how people access the site and to gather detailed data on travel habits, vehicle use, and parking patterns, helping to inform future transport planning and improve accessibility for staff and visitors alike.
By combining technology with face-to-face interaction, we gathered a clear picture of how people move in and out of Sky Studios Elstree. The data is now helping our client team make informed decisions about transport planning and parking management—ensuring the site remains accessible and efficient as it continues to grow.
